#30 When I have Kids

When I have kids, I will never let them be a child of divorce. I want my first marriage to be my only mariage. I do not believe in divorce because marriage is for life and a commit between two people and God. I grew up in a strong home, I have no divorced relatives and have been very fortunate for parents to be together for over twenty-five years. Because I have my parents, I know what a strong relatioship is, what a strong commited relationship looks like. My dad treats my mom like gold because to him, she is the most important thing to him and shows her how important she is to him everyday. I never want my children to worry about taking sides, whose house their going to on holidays, the prospect of a step family, or the prospect of being "replaced" by half siblings. Marriage is forever, and should be treated that way. Divorce will never be an option, when I say "I do", it'll be for forever.
